Privacy Policy
Last Updated: February 7, 2026
Our Commitment
Quarantine is built with a "Privacy by Design" philosophy. Our primary objective is to empower users with control over their device's internet access without compromising their personal data.
Data Collection
Quarantine does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data from your device.
- Traffic Data: All network filtering and packet inspection happen locally on your device. We do not have servers that receive your traffic data.
- Analytics: The app does not contain third-party analytics or tracking SDKs.
- Usage Logs: Any usage data or logs generated by the app are stored exclusively on your device and are cleared if you uninstall the app.
Android VPN Service
Quarantine utilizes the Android VpnService to create a local-only VPN tunnel. This is required to intercept and filter network traffic on a per-app basis. This VPN is local-only, meaning your data never leaves your device through our service.
Open Source
As an open-source project, our code is available for public audit. You can verify our privacy claims by reviewing our source code on GitHub.
